Yes. Text you type is yours, and text the tool converts stays yours. Use it for work, study, publication, client projects or anything else, commercially or not. We claim no rights over it and ask for no credit. We never see it in the first place — the conversion happens on your device.

Please check it before it matters. Transliteration from Roman letters involves genuine ambiguity — the same letters can map to more than one Hindi spelling — and the Kruti Dev converter does not cover every rare conjunct. TypingHindi is provided as it is, without a warranty that the output is correct for your purpose, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. For a legal document, an examination submission or anything published under your name, have a Hindi reader check it.

No, and we would rather say so than promise an uptime figure we do not measure. Pages may change, move or stop working, and the site may be unavailable without notice. Nothing here is stored on our side, so an outage cannot lose your work — but it can interrupt it. If you depend on a tool for something time-critical, keep a copy of what you produced.
